So, what do you need to do to get stated?

It’s pretty simple. Firstly, it’s always a good idea to have some monitory expectations when selling a machine. Having a rough idea of how much you would accept for your surplus machine could simplify your decision and make the process even easier. Then, when making the call to Ferwood, be ready with the make and model number of your machine and take a note of the age and any technical features unique to that machine. An easy way to check this is to have a copy of the original machinery specification or order confirmation to hand. Any outstanding finance agreement on the machine will also be needed.

We will also ask for some images of the machine and the plate. Clear shots of the complete machine and close-ups of its key features, like a CNC’s tool changer, spindles and operating system are important.
