The Matrix flat bed of the machine is made from Aluminium or Phenolic and will have external vacuum pumps. The Router Electospindle on the machine can be 3 axis for nesting panel production or 4 axis for joinery applications. The CNC Routing machine would have a tool changer either on the head or on the end of the bed for fast tooling changes mid program. In some machines vertical boring spindles and horizontal boring spindles and grooving saws are available. The flat vacuum tables can have pods or jigs placed on them to raise the workpiece off the bed to allow for edge profiling and horizontal machining. CNC Nesting machine centres can be offered stand alone or as part of a nesting cell with automatic panel loading and panel sweep off with bed cleaning for greater production.
