Electrospindle Overhauling

Our staff strives to solve machine downtime issues caused by spindle faults in the shortest time possible, thanks to qualified technicians and reliable partners.
To obtain the best results, our workflow is designed to optimize the overhauling process.


1. RECEPTION OF MATERIALS
When it gets here, the spindle is immediately registered to ensure complete traceability during the entire repair process.


2. DISASSEMBLY AND QUOTE
The spindle is completely disassembly to analyse the fault. After performing the mechanical and electric checks, we draft a quote.

3. COMPONENT CLEANING
All components are thoroughly washed with specific products in a high-pressure tank (50 bar). In case of stubborn deposits, the parts are sanded with glass microspheres and washed again.

4. COMPONENT RESTORATION
We perform all the works required to restore any damaged or out-of-tolerance components. If a piece cannot be restored, we rebuild it.

5. REPLACING WORN PARTS
We replace worn parts with original spares.

6. BALANCING
Before the assembly, we perform the balancing of all rotating parts. During the running-in phase, we carry out a further dynamic balancing, with issuance of the related certification.

7. ASSEMBLY, RUNNING-IN AND TESTING
After refitting all mechanical and electric parts, the spindle is run-in and tested on a special workbench.
Tests carried out:

- tool and 300 mm extension attachment rotation error check
- tool tightening torque check
- electric parameters check
- phonic wheel reader and sensors calibration
- inspection data certification

8. WARRANTY
For all overhauls performed, we issue a testing certificate and related 12 month warranty.

In order to correctly assess the damage, the spindle must be removed and inspected; this is why quotes are always free. You only pay the shipping costs.
