Drilling heads: Useful maintenance tips

How can you increase the life and performance of your boring assemblies, CNC drill heads and drilling machines in just 4 easy steps?  

We asked our Field Engineer Christian to share these all important and easy to follow steps.  Routine maintenance will take very little time but can significantly reduce the risk of unnecessary problems.

1. After every shift, thoroughly clean the inside of the spindles with air
2. Grease the head once a week while it rotates.
3. Check spindle accuracy control
4. Weekly checks for wear of the head attachment
